Lactation consultation refers to comprehensive breastfeeding education, support, counseling, clinical management, and interventions provided to women during the antenatal, perinatal, and postpartum period to support the initiation, maintenance and continuation of breastfeeding.
Our support and guidance will include, but are not limited to:

Pre- and post-natal counseling about the initiation of breastfeeding, and that factors that may affect breastfeeding and lactation;

Breastfeeding issues are common! A comprehensive lactation evaluation will provide the support, encouragement, and direction needed to develop a healthy breastfeeding experience for both you and your baby.
Follow Up Consultation
Additional appointments are needed to address new concerns, re-evaluate previous issues, or monitor your baby's growth. Let's revisit your breastfeeding plan to make adjustments based on your and your baby’s changing needs. The follow-up appointment will include a weight check of the baby, assessment and adjustment of the current breastfeeding plan, observation and appropriate assistance with a full feeding
